Where do I board and how do I get there?

Ahoy, Sailors! We will board passengers at Ann Street Pier, behind the Armory Antiques (365 Thames Street), which is right past Christie’s Landing off Thames Street (for directions, see below).

What meals are included?

Breakfast and lunch are served onboard daily as well as afternoon hors d’oeuvres. Dinners are ashore; you may eat when/where you like at the various ports. One dinner is included in your fare - a lobster boil in Cuttyhunk the last night of the cruise. Plus, we offer a cocktail party just for Arabella passengers at our hotel in Oak Bluffs, the Pequot Hotel. Please join us!

What time do I board?

A crewmember will be waiting for you from 2:00pm on to check guests in and take luggage. Passengers will board at 4:00pm. If you are driving, you may want to drop off your bags first, and then park the car. Your cocktail cruise on the Rum Runner II departs Arabella at 5:30pm this evening. If you are going to arrive later than 4:00pm, please call our office at (401) 849-3033, during normal business hours to notify us. Though we do not set sail until the following morning, we want everyone to experience Arabella from the get-go!

What time will I return to Newport?

You will disembark in Newport about 10:30am. If you have a flight that day from the Providence Airport, we suggest arranging one from 1:00pm on. It is approximately 45 minutes to the airport from Newport.

Where do I park my car if I am arriving on the day of departure?

Parking for our guests is complimentary at the Newport Yachting Center off America’s Cup Avenue. Once you exit from the Newport Bridge (take Scenic Newport exit), turn right off exit ramp and drive straight through first set of traffic lights. At second set of traffic lights turn right. This is America’s Cup Avenue. Follow America’s Cup Avenue through 5 sets of lights and the Yachting Center will be on your right, approximately 3 blocks down, just before the 6th set of lights. Please tell the parking attendant you are with the Arabella and they will direct you to the D-lot. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING TO NEED A PARKING SPOT, AS YOU WILL NEED A PARKING PASS!!

To walk from parking area to Ann Street Pier simply take a right on America’s Cup Avenue. Go past the statue of the wave and take a right onto Thames Street (the Red Parrot Restaurant will be on the corner). Take your third right off Thames Street. This brings you to the Ann Street Pier. Another option is for you to first drop off your luggage at Ann Street Pier, and then go park your car.

What transportation do you suggest for getting to Newport from the Providence / T.F. Green Airport / Logan or Kingston Amtrak Station?

The best way is thru a local limo company. You need to make a reservation! The name of the company is Rockstar Limo and their phone number is 888-725-7871, ask for Sherry, let her know you are with the Arabella. The other option is to take a cab 401-849-1333, which is about $75.00 each way.

What if my family needs to get a hold of me in the case of an emergency?

In the case of an emergency, you may give your family members the office number if it is during the regular business hours—Monday thru Friday, 9-5pm (Eastern time) - (401) 849-3033. Arabella may be reached at any time and anywhere by the boat's satellite phone. The boat and key shore personnel numbers will be sent to you prior to your cruise.
